If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I speak a lot about organization. Organization in your home and life that will make your life easier. Although organization is great, you can take it to a deeper level. How? By simplifying.
When you simplify your home and life, you clear out all the junk and extra stuff that’s just not needed. Things like clothes you haven’t worn in more than a year or pens that don’t write anymore or old greeting cards that don’t have sentimental value anymore. The list goes on!
When I started researching how I could not only simplify things, but also stay organized, I came across Emily Ley. If you don’t know who this woman is, I highly recommend you look her up. She is a wife, a mother, a designer and a woman that found out how to simplify her life. She shares what she found with the world and helps so many simplify their lives. In 2019, I will be included in that group of people and will have a much simpler life.
But why wait until 2019? I thought I’d start early with her Simplicity Challenge. You can find this on her website on the blog. When I first read through the Challenge, I noticed not everything was about cleaning and purging. Some of the tasks in the Challenge are about simplifying your lifestyle. Interesting, right?
So why am I sharing this with you before I’ve even done the Challenge? Because I want to challenge you to do this with me. It’s a perfect time to do it too! You’re starting the last quarter of 2018 and taking on this challenge will help you start 2019 with a clean slate. Each day on my Instagram, I’ll be sharing a story about that day’s challenge. How much of a challenge it was? How much fun it was? Did I find it freeing? I want you to join me in this challenge and chime in with your thoughts.
So what do you say? Are you ready to take on the Challenge?
