In a crazy world, we can sometimes get overwhelmed.  That feeling of overwhelm, I believe, starts at home.  Sometimes the clutter and chaos we have in our own homes comes out into the world with us and that feeling of overwhelm sticks with us.  But you can free yourself of that feeling of overwhelm….or at least reduce it.

I’ve always been a little obsessive-compulsive and honestly, I think that’s helped me a bit.  Why?  Because I’ve been able to keep a clean and organized home.  This helps not only keep my asthma symptoms at bay, but also helps me stay balanced.  I’ve done this through planning, list writing and organization.  And even though I still get overwhelmed from time to time, I feel it less and less.

Having an organized life starts with decluttering and removing things from your home and life that don’t bring you joy when they once used to.  This process of decluttering includes anything from clothing to books to kitchen ware to sports equipment…you name it!  Having too many things in your home not only leads to feeling overwhelmed, but may also cause physical harm.

Like many people, you may not even know where to start.  That’s where I come in.

The process of organizing your life starts with a 30-minute consultation.  I come to your home or office and together, we decide where to start, how much time we think we’ll need and what, if any, materials will be needed.  I’ll also share with you how reducing clutter and keeping surfaces clean can not only help your mind but help your body, as well.

On the first day we start to Organize Your Life, we will go over what list building is and how it can help you stay focused and organized.  I’ll explain the reason why every thing should have a home.  We will discuss the items you have in your space and what you would like to do with them.  And we’ll finish by discussing how decluttering and keeping surfaces clean can help reduce respiratory symptoms and skin irritations.

After Day One, you may decide you want or need more time.  That’s ok!  The process of organizing may take a day or several days.  Over the course of time, you will see and feel changes.  You will see less clutter.  You will notice you have more free time every day.  You may feel the air quality change and be able to breath easier.  You may start to feel a sense of peace in your space.  And I can promise, you will start to think differently about the items around you.

By working together, we will not only improve your outlook on life, but you will gain a sense of inner calm, both physically and mentally.  Contact me today to schedule your 30-minute consultation and start feeling less overwhelmed, more balanced and healthier inside and out.
